Opus 3 records "timeless acoustic music" - jazz, folk, and classical. All
recordings are stereo miked and are collectively the most natural recordings
I've heard. I've purchased 10 so far and they are all of uniformly excellent
quality. If you're interested, I'd suggest starting with "Test Record 1:
Depth of Image" (#7900). It "consists of selections from 16 Opus 3 productions
and used to evaluate depth reproduction in playback systems." Each record
is $18, shipping and handling included. Order from:

They take checks, but I don't know about credit cards. They ship 4th class,
so USPS takes a couple of weeks to deliver. You'll get a "catalog" with
