1) I am having some problems using gnuemacs in some NCR terminals. The 4970 terminals emulate vt220 but the termcap appears to be wrong since gnu does not display on the screen but rather writes all data to the screen. The problem is local since other terminals attached to the system work fine with gnu. Does anybody out there have a termcap for vt220's that appears to work well with gnu?. I am running system five with AT&T unix. We use terminfo but I can translate termcaps if necessary. 2) I also have some workstations that highlight everything that you type into the gnu buffer. I was able to correct this playing with the standout mode variable in term.c but that messes up things in other terminals. If anybody has an idea on how to fix this from the termcap, I would appreciate it. Thanks, in advance. Angel R.
