To the world:
I am currently bringing 18.51.1 under a network of Sun 3/50's,
3/160's, and 3/260's running SunOS 3.2. Although I have been reading the
*.emacs groups for a while, this responsibility is comparatively recent;
thus the many bug fixes, etc. posted have just flown on by. So I am going
to ask some incredibly novice questions:
1) Is there a way for me to pick up the recent 18.51 updates? I have read
the material relating to the modified rcp method, but as the binary is
meant for VAXen, it doesn't seem incredibly useful to me. (No source license,
either.)
2) Does anyone have a concise list of current bugs in 18.51? A related quest-
ion is the availability of documentation with the updates mentioned in (1)
that tell the bugs fixed.
3) As time goes on, I will be connecting GNUmacs to all the windowing
systems available here (SunView, X11R2, and NeWS 1.1). Any pointers, warnings,
and the like will be gratefully taken. I do have the original Columbia NeWS
interface code.
For either of the above, anonymous ftp access is ideal; however, I'll take
what I can get. Please, though, if any kind soul wants to send anything mass-
ive, please send a message stating this, so I am not deluged. Most of this
stuff is incredibly trivial, so posting is probably not necessary (and
probably will not be appreciated by those who know what's going on.)
