Here is a problem that I consider interesting: When running GNU in a regular terminal, such as a vt100, you have the ability to start an inferior process, such as lisp or prolog, in another buffer and be able to send stuff from any buffer in lisp or prolog modes respectively to the inferior processes. This also works with X, but the buffers are all displayed in the same window where GNU is a client. What I would like to have is the Inferior Lisp or prolog running in a separate window and still be able to send stuff from the lisp or prolog buffers to the inferior processes. I know that I can start another GNU window from the original GNU but I do not know how to send code from one GNU to the other (if it is at all possible). Also that is not very efficient because each inferior process would require a whole new GNU to start running. I am running 18.51 and X11 under System V on an NCR 32/600 Is there anything available to accomplish this?. Please, let me hear from you even if it is only for suggestions. Thanks. Angel R.
