[comp.emacs] Can "spell" learn new words? -- Summary

ntanaka@gandalf.cs.cmu.edu (Nobuyoshi Tanaka) (11/09/88)

Most of responders told me that "ispell" is what I want. It can be got from
celray.cs.yale.edu via anonymous ftp. Directory is /u/public/ispell/ and
contains the following:
    dict.shar.Z 137,622
    ispell.shar.Z 108,435
    ispell.el 22,712
Unfortunately, I cannot access such a machine.
Fortunately, John sent me ispell.el.
Unfortunately*2, our ispell command rejects "-v" option. Sigh...

Kevin sent me a powerspell program.

Thank you:
