I'm running (or trying to run) GNU Emacs 18.50.3 on a vax running 4.2 BSD. When I type M-x run-lisp I get this error message: Wrong number of arguments: (lambda (lisp-syntax) (byte-code "^H\205$ and then my lisp appears. What happens then is that the lisp reader doesn't work. Can anyone tell me what's going on? Thanks, Eliot Handelman Music Dept. Princeton U.
