[If this has been asked and answered before, SORRY -- I'm new to the list.] I've been hacking at the GNU Emacs mail utilities and am pretty impressed. With a minimum of effort, I've got replies and all customized the way I like 'em. I'm on a Sun (OS 4.0) running GNU 18.52. My question relates to mail reading using Sunview (or Suntools for the non-4.0-ites ;-) I like the button interface of Sun's mailtool and use it to read and archive my mail. It's pretty slick -- if you include the menu-based folder system and all. Except, of course, for the display interface -- that handy ol' Sun "textedit" editor. Has anyone worked that Emacs magic on a Gnu mailtool facility? What would be nice is a Sun mailtool with an Emacs display interface. Or a spiffy emacstool-with-buttons that makes Emacs work like the mailtool. I LOVE the (Sunview) menu-based folder system for archiving mail, so the interface should include something along these lines. I'm on the verge of tinkering with one myself, but don't want to waste my time... Thanks. Mike Jipping Hope College Department of Computer Science jipping@cs.hope.edu
