[comp.emacs] uEmacs and vt100s

Okay, maybe I'm just stupid and missing something here.  Quite
possible in fact since I know nothing about uEmacs and MS-DOS
interaction.   Nonetheless, what is vt100 format for an init file?  It
seems to me that, while the setting up of your environment can occur
in your init file depending on terminal type (mine does), but why
would the file have to be ported?
