I have installed GNU emacs 18.52 under VMS 5.0. Everything works fine except for one irritating thing. Occasionally, some keystrokes would be missed. It is particularly noticeable when the function keys are or auto repeat keys are held down. In such cases, an 'ESC' character may sometimes have slipped, resulting in the remaining esc sequence bein inserted into the buffer --- a dangerous situation. Seems to be some input buffer overflow problem or bad interrupt handling of QIO?
