Recently I installed GNU Emacs 18.52 onto a VMS 4.7 system. Everything seems ok, except that I can't seem to read big text files. The files are on the order of 6000 lines (1200 blocks). Other editors, CCA Emacs and tpu, have no trouble at all with the same files. Any ideas? Mike Rose mbr@lanl.gov
