I am seeing something with GNUS 3.12 that didn't happen with 3.11. This is on a Sun 3/60, SunOS 3.5, using GnuEmacs 18.52, and under a very large emacstool window (full screen height, 53 rows x 80 cols). You have subject-search on (the default here), and you are reading a largish newsgroup (say 30+ items) with several subjects. When it is the turn to read the last (or sometimes the second last or third last) unread item in the group, the article is properly displayed in the Article buffer, but the cursor in the Subject buffer points to some random article you have already looked at. The next key no longer works as before but steps throught the read articles in turn. This is annoying, and the only fix I have found is to quit the newsgroup and re-read it to get the last item or two. Familiar to anyone? I have seen the same problem with GnuEmacs 18.54 and GNUS 3.12 You can just move the point to the appropriate subject line and continue reading the article, but that is a real pain. mike -- /-------------------------------------------------------\ | If lawley@cs.mu.OZ.AU doesn't work, try: | | | | ACSnet: lawley@munnari.oz.au | | UUCP: {uunet,ukc,ubc-cs,mcvax}!munnari!lawley | | ARPA: lawley%munnari.oz.au@uunet.uu.net | \-------------------------------------------------------/
