[comp.emacs] Need help with Wyse-50 key setup

NXS1@PSUVM.BITNET (08/28/89)

I am using a Wyse-50 terminal, in a mode that emulates a TVI-925.
This type of terminal is the greatest common denominator of the machines
I use. I would like to be able to use the function keys. These have
a prefix of <SOH>, instead of, for example, the vt100 <ESC>[ . I have
looked at examples of vt???.el files that came with EMACS. And it seemed
as if all I had to do was to substute ^a for <ESC>[ in the CSI-map, (or
TVI-map). This doesn't seem to work, but since this is my first experience
with EMACS, I am not surprised. Does anyone have a tvi925.el, or w50.el
that they could send me? Is there an archive site for terminal setups?
Your help is appreciated.

I have a wy50.el that you can place under $EMACS/lisp/term to allow the
softkeys to be used.
