I have an additional binding for the quote character to CTRL/^ in uemacs 3.10 because CTRL/Q isn't always available, depending on the route I take to my machine. I have noticed that the rebound quote character doesn't work in search strings (it does in the text), although ^Q does. This means that most of the time I can't search for ^G, ^H, or my string terminator. Has anyone noticed this - fixed it? (It also occurs in version 3.9e) -- Leila Burrell-Davis, Computing Service, University of Sussex, Brighton, UK Tel: +44 273 678390 Fax: +44 273 678335 JANET: leilabd@uk.ac.sussex.syma INTERNET: leilabd%syma.sussex.ac.uk@nsfnet-relay.ac.uk BITNET: leilabd@syma.sussex.ac.uk UUCP: leilabd@syma.uucp
