We've just acquired a Silicon Graphics 4D 80 System with a Personal
Iris Graphics Workstation. We're also acquiring a terminal that
supports X11.
I'm interested in acquiring an editor for use on the system and the
obvious choice is Emacs. We'd like an Emacs that requires minimal
development for the above system and minimal overall maintenance,
since as a Biochemistry Department at a medical college, we neither
have large numbers of professional programmers available nor will
we be hiring any.
If someone would kindly send me any information available, I'd be
very appreciative.
