I would like two reconfigure to resolve two problems running Gnu Emacs under Sunview. First, If I am in an incremental search, the arrow keys will do strange things. This is because the arrow Keys (R8, R10, R12, and R14) actually send escape sequences. Thus I get ESC * junk. (or ESC bracket junk, or whatever) The difficulty is that the escape terminates the incremental search just fine. It is then lost and the remaining characters are accepted as normal input, putting garbage on my screen. Secon, if possible. I run with Arrow_Keys turned off so that some other tools will work correctly. However, this seems to cause the R8, R10, R12, and R14 not to repeat when I hold them down.
