has anyone had problems with micro-emacs (or gnu) not accepting
the control-x character when logged in from a remote system ???
I have seen this behavior from both a vt330 and from a variety of
vt100 emulators (pc and unix) when trying to run emacs when either
"set host", connected via ultrix's lat-tcp gateway, or via straight
telnet.
I have had my term variable set to vt100 in all cases and this has
occured on Suns and under ULtrix 2.2 and 3.0 on various systems. The
frustrating part is that it works fine on Vaxes (vms) and Apollos.
Please e-mail any clues if you have them to me as indicated below rather
than cross-posting.
