Has anyone out there successfully compiled and run MicroEmacs 3.10 under SunOS 4.0.2? When I set the system type to "SUN" in estruct.h I get lots of nasty compilation errors. When I set it to "BSD" it compiles just fine. Unfortunately, there is some Sun specific code there (particularly in tcap.c) which I miss out on. Also, no matter what I set the appropriate macro to, the status line at the bottom of the screen never displays in reverse video. All this has been taking place on a Sun386i under SunOS 4.0.2 If you have a simple answer please email -- I'm considering going back to MicroEMACS 3.9! One of the sites handling mail to .oz is bouncing things, so here goes. I have had best luck with memacs on Sun by putting /usr/5bin at the start of the PATH and compiling for SysV. This may help you. My status line comes out correctly, although I have "reverse video" in the termcap set to high intensity green because I don't like the readability of the actual reverse video. -- bill davidsen (davidsen@crdos1.crd.GE.COM -or- uunet!crdgw1!crdos1!davidsen) "The world is filled with fools.
