The Usenet newsgroup comp.emacs is gatewayed to/from an Internet mailing list unix-emacs. The gateway is at BBN, the mailing list recently moved from BBN to Tulane. As a result, there have been some cracks in the gate and duplicates have been reposted to the newsgroup bearing BBN message-id's. Sorry about this. I think I know the cause, and have suggested some fixes to the folks at Tulane. Until then, mail from the unix-emacs mailing list will NOT be sent into this newsgroup, but stuff posted here will go out to the mailing list. Every single article that I receive in comp.emacs comes in duplicate.
