[comp.emacs] electric LaTeX mode

Has anyone built extensions to LaTeX Mode for GNU Emacs that provide
some of the special functions of Scribe mode?  I am particularly
interested in command that enclose a region in a named environment, or
that construct a named environment with a single key chord.

If I hear anything, I'll summarize; if I hear nothing, I'll probably
write them -- eventually.
