This may seem like a strange question, but there are some users on our IBM machine (running VM/CMS) who hate XEDIT, and would like something like emacs. Is there anything remotely like emacs available (preferably free) for an IBM mainframe? We're running an IBM 4381, with VM/CMS release 5. Thanks for your private replies. David B.
