[comp.emacs] redraw

I know that emacs uses a "clever" way of re-drawing the screen.
However, I have a really stupid terminal package which I must
occasionally use, and it would be nice if I could tell emacs to
brute-force the new screen over the old one. Is there some easy way to
do this?
