I heard someone mention a calendar tool for EMACS at a lecture at MCC the other day. Does anyone have a copy that they could send me or post to comp.emacs. The file calendar.el is available by anonymous ftp in the pub directory of a.cs.uiuc.edu. If you can't ftp, I'll mail the code to anybody requesting it. I am now in the process of revising the code and will post the revisions when they are ready. The revision includes fixing all the known minor bugs, allowing common diary files, faster computation of holidays and Hebrew dates, splitting the file into smaller chunks for faster loading, and (probably) the use of European style dates. The revised code will be part of Version 19. To any one who knows about the comments at the meeting mentioned in the base note, I'd like further details.

To everyone who sent me mail asking for a copy of calendar.el: I'll mail the files in about a week, when I've finished the revisions. At that time, I'll post the files here and also make them available through ftp. Please be patient--I don't want to distribute code that is within days of being obsolete!
