If you find that Emacs crashes when installed according to directions, please consider that a bug report and mail it to bug-gnu-emacs@prep.ai.mit.edu. There's probably no point in taking up the time of the majority of readers of gnu.emacs with such reports; those that would like to see them, can see them on bug-gnu-emacs (or its repeater newsgroup, gnu.emacs.bug). Also, it is better to send the report as email than to post it as news. Either way, the same people will get it, but the mail message will carry a return address which I could use to reply to you if I need to ask for more information. To keep down the traffic, please don't send a message just to explain that you too have observed a problem recently reported.
