[comp.emacs] Major elisp archive update

de5@STC06.CTD.ORNL.GOV (SILL D E) (07/25/90)

I've just cleared my year-long backlog of elisp to be added to the
archives on tut.cis.ohio-state.edu. Below I've listed some of the
highlights and included an ls listing of the files added.

Unfortunately, it's become too great a burden for me to keep the Lisp
Code Directory updated, so don't expect it to reflect these additions.
If someone else wants to volunteer to do that, I'll be happy to get
them started. Serious inquiries only, please.

Highlights:

New `epoch' directory for Epoch-specific elisp.
New `info-2' directory since `info' is a symlink.
    Several RCS and SCCS interfaces.
    Hebrew and 8-bit support.
    The cmushell/comint package.
Modes for S, C++, Pascal, Perl, Prolog, generic code, and SQL.
Emulators for EDT, VI, and Dvorak keyboards.
    Modes for Maple and Mathematica.
The LaTeXinfo package, and other TeX utilities.
The incredibly complete calculator, Calc, version 1.03.
    Supercite 2.0.
    Paul Raveling's input remapping suite.
    Terminal support for 300l, vt200, and wy50.
And scads and oodles of handy, nifty packages and functions too
        numerous to mention.

System V folks: I tried to keep .el filenames at 13 characters or
fewer so there'd be room for the .elc. If I missed any, let me know.

Please send corrections, suggestions, and submissions to de5@ornl.gov.

I'd like to thank the authors of these contributions, who have
selflessly given the fruits of their labors to the Emacs community.
Keep up the good work!
