[comp.emacs] Inhibit c-mode indentation

dale@odetics.com (Dale Pischke) (10/05/90)

I'm new to Gnu Emacs (version 18.55), and would like to use it for editing
'C' source files. However, I've got my own 'standard' of indentation, and have
been unable to get Emacs to indent as I'd like. I've tried changing many of
the c-indent variables, and can get it close, but not precise.

So, my question is, "Is there a way to inhibit Gnu Emacs from attempting any
control over indentation while in c-mode?" I'd be happy if Emacs would tab
when I want it to, not adjust indentation, etc.

Thanks for any and all help/suggestions.
