palkovic@LINAC.FNAL.GOV (John A. Palkovic) (10/11/90)
When I run "etags *.tex" on our 4/260 in a directory with about 100K of *.tex LaTeX source files I get a TAGS file like this (linefeeds replaced with C-l): C-l Maxwell.tex,0 C-l bib.tex,0 etc... Any ideas? It worked fine under SunOS 4.0.3. After all, The `etags' program is used to create a tag table file. It knows the syntax of C, Fortran, LaTeX, Scheme and Emacs Lisp/Common Lisp. To use `etags', type etags INPUTFILES... as a shell command. - emacs.texinfo Hope I didn't just violate the copyleft. -- John Palkovic {att,uunet}!tellab5!linac!palkovic palkovic@linac.fnal.gov, {att,uunet}!linac.fnal.gov!palkovic works too.
