[comp.emacs] replacement for '{?}' in emacs/freemacs ?

JMaas@massey.ac.nz (J.A. Maas) (10/10/90)

Does anyone know if there is a function in freemacs/emacs that is
similar to the '{?}' function in most popular spreadsheets? I would
like to put it into a macro to temporarily halt the macro and await
input from the keyboard, then continue operating.

Thanks
Jim

You're talking about kbd-macro-query. Freemacs has [as always :-(] a
subset of GNU Emacs's function -- Freemacs won't let you do a recursive
edit out of it.
