[comp.emacs] Is there a FORTRAN mode...

v087mxgb@ubvmsa.cc.buffalo.edu (Shawn E Thompson) (11/02/90)

Hi there,

I used emacs @ the University of BUffalo on a Prime 6350
(big Fortran box), and now do that for a living.........

Prime has a very nice Fortran mode (you can even compile
a program while WITHIN emacs)....

Is there such a thing for MicroEmacs?????
Can I MAKE such a thing somehow (without recompiling)?????
Is there a way to compile (should you save file 1st)?????

ALSO:

I begged around for a manual for a long time, and kindly
received a beautiful Postscript from Paul Amaranth
(very accomodating gentleman), and a text manual from an FTP
site...Several people Emailed me for the same things....

If anyone can suggest a site I wil FTP them to an anonymous
site for all to share...
