Recently I installed gnus which ran perfectly for some weeks. Now I get the following messages in the mini-buffer when trying to start gnus: - "loading gnus ..." - "reading .newsrc .." - "reading active file .." and then all of sudden - "fatal error. Illegal instruction (4)" .. and emacs is dead. (This doesn't happen if there are no new messages to read) So, what is wrong, what has been changed? Could anybody give me an hint?
