[comp.emacs] Course for teaching GNU-Emacs to novices wanted

fpb@ittc.wec.com (Frank P. Bresz) (11/09/90)

Hi out there,

As the subject says I am looking for information I can use to
present a course to a group of people here who are familiar with other
bogus UNIX editors such as vi, and the awful (stone and chisel is better
for programming) texteditor from SUN.

I am a very strong advocate of GNU-Emacs. I never use anything
else unless I really must. The problem is that I have been an Emacs user
for 5 years. It is hard for me to teach others things which seem intuitive
to me.

Any one else out there ever do this. Can I plaguerize your course
work perhaps. I will post anything I receive of interest. If I end up
having to develop something on my own I will post that also.
