Hallo! I realize this is not the appropriate forum for my question but I really need help! I have looked for an suitable group but haven't found one. If anybody can sugest one or help me with my problem, please email me! I have problems installing gnu-cc 1.37.1 on a sun4. Everything works allright up to and including point 7 (make stage1) in the included instuctions! At point 8 (recompile the compiler with itself) the following happens: make CC=stage1/gcc CFLAGS="-g -O -Bstage1/" stage1/gcc -g -O -Bstage1/ -o cc1 c-parse.tab.o c-decl.o c-typeck.o c-converto toplev.o version.o tree.o print-tree.o stor-layout.o fold-const.o rtl.o rtlaa l.o expr.o stmt.o expmed.o explow.o optabs.o varasm.o symout.o dbxout.o sdbou. o emit-rtl.o insn-emit.o integrate.o jump.o cse.o loop.o flow.o stupid.o combn e.o regclass.o local-alloc.o global-alloc.o reload.o reload1.o caller-save.o i nsn-peep.o final.o recog.o insn-recog.o insn-extract.o insn-output.o obstack.o ld: stage1/gnulib(_fixunsdfsi.o): wrong machine type *** Error code 1 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `cc1' I have made the prorper soft-links to the `sparc` files in config/!
