[] I'm having a problem mounting my second hard disk (under XENIX 3.0, on an IBM AT). Mount says 'mount: bad file system (65536)'. This disk is a non-standard disk (for an AT), but I've patched up XENIX to talk to it. I haven't had any problems with the user partition (until now, that is), although the root partition got mysteriously corrupted once (and I never got around to putting anything on it since). But now, I can't mount either file system, and there are some files on there that I haven't backed up. So, if someone could please give me some ideas as how to mount the disk again, I would really appreciate it. I've tried fsck, including the -c option, but to no avail (I haven't tried the -s option -- it looked too dangerous). (If it's of any help, I noticed this problem after a single user login, of which I'm not sure that I shut the system down properly, since I couldn't see what I was typing (my enhanced color display wasn't set up correctly)).
