Hello all,
I am running Microemacs religiously, and also have
Prime's implementation of Emacs for their Prime
boxes.
On Prime, there are two very nice features.....
1.) there is a line number mode, that turns on
line numbers (as a vertical window next to
the beginning of each line), great for debugging.
2.) the set-up files (analagous to Emacs.rc), are
compiled so they load up faster.
This is one of two things Prime does a great job of
(the other being their great Fortran compilers...
oh yeah, and good DOC's).
Is there any way I can get such features on MicroEmacs
and Emacs on a SPARCstation????
