I'm running GNU Emacs 18.55 on a Sun 3/60 with OpenWindows 2.0. Has anyone hacked GNU Emacs (x11term.c?) to support the drag-and-drop feature in OpenWindows? Would it be possible? It'd be neat to drag a file from the filemanager to emacs and have it open that file in a new buffer. Also, is it possible to set/change the icon, icon-name and title from whitin emacs? -- clindh@abalon.se :: o/ Abalon AB, Stockholm, Sweden :: /@ fight gravity. :: <|\ climb. *All disclaimers apply* :: |

I did not. However initializing server-mode in your .emacs and configuring
the file-manager to use emacsclient as text-editor allows you to double-click
on files and they will be opened in your emacs. I even prefer double-clicking;
dragging costs too much time.
