[comp.emacs] Teco expression evaluation in Elisp?!?

markh@squirrel.LABS.TEK.COM (Mark C. Henderson) (01/31/91)

Paul Rubin <phr@ocf.Berkeley.EDU> recently told me that
someone has written a TECO expression evaluator for GNU Emacs.

Does anyone know where I could get a hold of such a thing?

If someone has such a thing, could you please post it somewhere
(alt.sources or gnu.* or something like that).

If possible, please also include a summary of TECO commands for those
of us who forgot what things like:

	  0[a 0[b 0[c 8+8[..e
	  16<16<16<qa(2,)\ qb(2,)\ qc(2,)\ i
	  $
	  qc+16uc>
	  qa(2,)\ qb(2,)\ iff
	  $
	  0uc qb+16ub>
	  qa(2,)\ iffff
	  $
	  0ub 0uc qa+16ua>
	  iffffff
	  $

do. [TECO code thanks to Rich Alderson; alderson@portia.stanford.edu]
