[comp.emacs] documenting programs-- any suggestions?

There's a standalone [TeX]info reader I've heard about that perhaps you
could call via GNU Emacs' emacsclient or something also...  I don't
know... someone else hopefully will supply the details.

There is a standalone texinfo reader and texinfo processor.  (you have
to process the texinfo source to produce a file the reader can use.)
There is even a mess-dos port of it.
