[comp.emacs] Query about text cursor and pointer focus.

Is there any way to tell emacs not to change the appearance of the text
cursor when the emacs window loses the pointer (but still has input
focus)?

I ask because I want to be able to move the pointer out of the emacs
window (or use a program that grabs and blanks the pointer).
