Is there a way in GNU Emacs to see the entire mode line? Some modes (like RMAIL) put things like labels of the message being viewed in the mode line. When this gets long, I can find no way to see the end of the mode line (especially true if I've used M-x display-time). A similar problem also occurs for me when using GNUS. Some messages that GNUS displays in the message area are larger than the message area can display (often because of long pathnames). Is there a way to scroll through the message area?
