[comp.emacs] Need Help Installing on HP-UX 3.1

     Check out the "Unofficial HP GNU Emacs", a special "value-added"
version of V18.57 GNU Emacs that works very well with HP machines (it
should still work fine with other, non-HP, machines).  I'm pretty sure
that it will still compile under HP-UX 3.1.  Please note that this is
unsupported, and that there are no guarantees, warranties of fitness,
etc., etc..

     If you are a member of INTEREX (an HP User's Group), a copy is on
this year's contrib tape.  If you're not a member, you *MAY* be able to
find a copy on me10.lbl.gov [128.3.128.110] as "/pub/interex/HUGE.tar.Z"
(this is not an official distribution site -- someone merely decided to
make the tape contents available on an "as is" basis).

     Note that you need 35 megabytes of free disk space to compile this
puppy.  Also note that the compressed tar archive is ~15MB.
