I serve on an advisory board for a skills center here in the Everett/Seattle area. The skills center was recently given 2 PDP 11/35 systems. Both systems came with RSX. We would like to change to a UNIX environment and use the systems to Introduce students to UNIX. Obviously, neither system has split I&D space. I have been told that because of this, we would better off running ver 2.9 than the currently available ver 2.10.a Does anyone know where we could purchase a BOOT tape with version 2.9 unix. Actually you would be better off with 2.8bsd if you can find it. Try Keith Bostic (bostic@ucbvax.berkeley.edu) for either 2.8 or 2.9. -- Michael Ewan decvax----\ (503)627-6468 hplabs------\ sytek@tekgen.TEK.COM ihnp4-------->----!tektronix!tekgen!sytek ucbvax------/
