As several people have reminded me by mail, the modem control additions to UUCP werent made until SysVr3.1, and the ex:..: stuff wasn't ripped of vi until either 3.1 or 3.2... My apologies to anyone who might have been misled by my earlier posting into expecting these things in 3.0.
