[comp.ai] Marilyn Dee Associates

Sorry I can't post to the net due to a software fault here...please
post what follows if you want.

I too am fed up with Marilyn Dee's advertising posts and its racialist
(and I guess illegal) disclaimer. Firstly, if they used the old
American phraseology and said "English need not apply", at least
they'd have been brief and to the point. Butr secondly, to my knowledge
it isn't true anyway, since so many people I've known have had no
difficulty in finding work in the U.S., it's just a matter of having
the skills they want and, of course, being willing to uproot oneself.

You are lost and confused.

The job posting is consistent with American policy in the hiring of employees
for Defense related jobs. There are also many companies that do not want the
hassles related to the hiring of nonAmericans (visas, etc ...).

Lastly, from what I hear from the people I know who have went to the UK in
search of work, they found a very hostile group of people (ENGLISH),
who don't want Americans taking their jobs.

At least in America it is done for reasons other than the preservation of
jobs for Americans.

Please, when you are criticizing the English, at least use proper English!

This looks like a reply directed at the poster.
So would you be so kind as to use electronic mail to ship your comments to
Britain (besides, it'll get there faster)

(Please don't insult the English, Americans speak "American English")

I wasn't criticizing the English. I was trying to place some fool who posted
a political remark on comp.ai in his place. So I suggest that you learn
to read and properly comprehend American English before you reply to a letter
written in American English.
