COMPANY:  HEALTHCARE 2OOO
This start-up organization is engaged in developing and testing new, state-of-
the-art computer systems to enhance quality of care and optimize operations in
HMO's and related health care settings.

POSITION:  ANALYST

General Description:  Functions as knowledge engineer working with
expert systems in health care.  Responsible for product team including
clinical consultants.  Participates in product development, evaluation, staff
recruitment, and training.  Works with other professional staff to ensure
overall system integration.

Basic Knowledge:  Must have expertise in computer application development and
be able to work with health care professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary
team to achieve program goals.  Understanding of computer applications in healthcare settings is highly desirable, as is knowledge of expert systems, program
evaluation, and data analysis.

Education/Experience:  Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer
Science, Cognitive Science or related field.  Three to five years of computer
experience with background in application development.  Prior health care
experience in clinical setting preferred.  Additional training or experience
in decision analysis, modeling, expert systems, program evaluation, and data 
analysis are highly desirable.
