Definition of Intelligenc:

Am I alone in believing that organisms other than human beings
possess intelligence? Does an ape possess intelligence? Does a
sea slug which is capable of classical learning possess intelligence?
If so, then doesn't this render the matter of conciousness
irrelevant?

That reminds me of the computer's prayer:
``May the Programmer give me
	1. The strength to solve what can be solved
	2. The patience to endure what can't be solved
	3. The wisdom to know the difference''
or something like that :-)

Nope, I believe it too. I am not even sure that humans are
indeed the most intelligent creatures on this planet. However, I have
not thought about whether "this renders the matter of conciousness
irrelevant."

I take it that spelling ability is not required for intelligence.
