Does any one have any examples of how to write code using the tcp calls (socket, connect, select) to write a server which can handle multiple clients, in SysV. I know how to do this for 4.2bsd but the network stuff is quite different under SysV. Any help, pseudo code, tricks will be appreciated. Specifically this is for a Silicon Graphics Iris, and they don't know much about tcp. Supossedly the calls are similar to 4.1bsd if that helps anyones memory. Thanks in advance... The EXOS stuff is really 4.1aBSD with all the BUGS. I have such a server, at the moment it's a bit difficult to unbundle, so I'll send it to you tomorrow. /mtr
