As we don't yet have 4.3BSD here could someone who does please mail me a copy of the manual page, and any other docs that exist, for "rdist"? (The source would go down well too but that would probably be illegal ...) (The source would go down well too but that would probably be illegal ...) The manual pages, as part of the Berkeley Standard Distribution, are licensed materials, covered by the same rules and regulations as the source code. 4.3 is shipping currently, so you have no reason not to get it. /jordan

BSD Unix is subject to US Export regulations and won't be available to folk outside the USA until the paperwork is sorted. This will probably take 6-12 months. We even got nice release documentation telling us how wonderful 4.3 is and how we can't get it yet. Aren't hi-tech embargos wonderful? Must go - there's trouble with our uucp link to the Kremlin... :-) :-) Jim ARPA: jim%cs.strath.ac.uk@ucl-cs.arpa, jim@cs.strath.ac.uk UUCP: jim@strath-cs.uucp, ...!seismo!mcvax!ukc!strath-cs!jim JANET: jim@uk.ac.strath.cs "JANET domain ordering is swapped around so's there'd be some use for rev(1)!"

And Schlumberger is a foreign owned company, so we can't get it either. -- ...!ihnp4!{hplabs|decwrl}!spar!faunt faunt@sri-kl.ARPA
