RE: availability of lexikons for NL work: i am also interested in the general availability of core lexikons for use in nl processing. a couple years ago i was doing some consulting for a prof in the german dept here; we ordered a lexikon from an institute in Bonn, it turns out that it was packed in a very dense way and the only available unpacking software was some ibm pl1 software which we never got. If such lexikons are to be usefule, they should be distributed in some more useable external form (eg as collections of plain text attribute-value pairs (perhaps in lisp notation) also if some standards are agreed upon in this direction, "we" could set up a lexikon archive for ftp'able lexikons!
