Anyone out there remember some rather bawdy albums by one
John Valby? I heard a few of these at a party in the
Fort Collins, CO. area two years ago, and have been trying
to locate some ever since. I gather that the albums have
been out-of-print for years, judging by the non-success I've
had! (A clerk in a record store in Denver was the only such
person that had even HEARD of Valby. An invitation to party
sometime was extended :-).

For the uninitiated, the albums have such titles as
"Psychological Bullshit", "Eatbite", etc.

If I have to justify my like for the guy, he DOES show evidence
of having some classical training, and he is an excellent pianist
(bar room style, whatever your conception of that might be).
Beyond all that, he is funny (my opinion, you don't have to
agree)!

I would appreciate hearing from anyone with leads on where I
could get any Valby albums, and as the next best thing, I will
consider letting someone that already has the albums (in good
condition) record them for me. In any case, let me hear from
the Valby fans out there!

P.S. Sorry, but I'm not familiar enough with the UUCP sites to
give you an electronic mail address to respond directly.
For those wishing to try, however, I believe the path
is ...!ctvax!uokvax!rctracy (no guarantees except for
	the last two elements).

Gene, you are indeed a brave person to come forward, but my
gratitude is immense! Funny that you should mention Rochester
and the House of Guitars... I've been in there a few times, but
had not yet heard of John (damn!). In any event, most of my family
lives in the greater Rochester area, and a few phone calls back east
should produce the desired results. Thanks for the fast response
on this!

		Sincerely (!),

P.S. To the rest of the world: no condolences requested or
desired as to my relatives living in Rochester (-:
