[comp.ai] source literature on planning as a psychological process

i am looking for literature sources that afford a psychological
analysis of planning as intellectual behavior.   what psychological 
literature is out there that provides an analysis as to how humans 
compose plans or schedules?

any suggestions will be appreciated.
