Does anyone know of a electronic dictionary out there which is in the public domain or very cheap for academic/research type use? My wish list is that the lexicon have the following qualities: * usable on a pc running DOS or OS2 * contains word hyphenation and pronunciations * contains fairly complete definitions with part-of-speech The only ones I am familiar with are either astronomically expensive, lack much of what I need, or a trivial in size. I am doing some NLP type stuff and any leads, help, etc will be greatly appreciated. John Schumacher schumach@dewey.udel.edu
